Our adventure began in 1970 with Service de Chauffage Victoriaville Inc. At the time, a group of people from the Coopérative des Bois-Francs's, "oil burner" division decided to buy Service de Chauffage Victoriaville inc. For them, it was an opportunity to put their potential into practice. They thus set up their business at 435, boulevard Gamache in Victoriaville.

Continued expansion causes the business to widen its field of specialties to include plumbing, heating, ventilation and refrigeration.

The electricity division is created.

The company participates in the largest project of the time: the hydo-electric dams in James Bay.

The company diversifies its activities and wins several international contracts in Tunisia, Gabon, Congo, and Algeria.

In order to better reflect the company's identity, Groupe SCV is created.

Creation of the design and construction department.

Groupe SCV obtains its ISO 9000: 2000 certification ( ISO 9001: 2008 since May 28, 2010).

Groupe SCV joins Fayolle Canada, a construction company active on the national level.
